Hey and welcome to F.F.T.

First,we would like to say, WELL DONE on choosing to become accredited in the tattoo industry. Here we cover exactly what a business membership gives you and what we require from you.

Running your business will require a certain set of documents. Health and safety notices, employment contracts (to ensure artists stay with you and want to work with you), good employment practices, audits to help with local authorities and licensing of your studio/parlour.

Code of conduct. Most importantly, you will receive our F.F.T. Accreditation sticker to go in your business window for clients to see. Giving them a peace of mind about how safe and professional you are. Lastly, you will then be able to place letters after your name. For example our first level of membership will grant you A.F.F.T (associate of the Federation For Tattooing) use this after your name to let others know you are a part of a professional organisation for your business. As you continue your training with us and as you spend more time within our professional organisation, you can go up in membership status. After 2 years or if you would like it faster, then complete the relevant training courses, you become M.F.F.T (full member of Federation For Tattooing)

The Member Status levels are indicated on this infographic. All members will be published on our accreditation site for the public to check.

When you become a member, you will receive a document pack. ALL of those documents are included (except licenses as that is the local governing body). We can even help build you a process to keep your business running smoothly. We keep an eye on industry legislation and make sure you are kept up to date.

So, if you are new to owning your own business within the Tattoo Industry, then being a member sets you up perfectly. Maybe you are an owner and would like to take your business to the next level and protect yourself from the non-educated parlours opening up around you? Then sign up. We provide the document packs to make that happen.

F.F.T BUSINESS

When you go to sign up, simply fill out our form. Tell us a little about your business and current training, if any and your current experience. We can then assign you a membership level.

We do need you to agree to our Code of Conduct. Without it, we are no better than the Scratchers we are trying to protect the industry from. We then process the Membership Fee. When you sign up you are agreeing to adhere to those guides as a member. These aren't some outlandish and unrealistic rules, we bet most of you are close already. Just a few tweaks, if any and you're good to go.

That's it! We may require a follow up call for certain situations or just to get to know you and your business to better help you. But other than that, enjoy the support and accreditation.

If you are sure you don't have the experience required or have no idea how to get the relevant training, don't worry. We can provide all of that and get you accredited as fast as possible.

The F.F.T is about support professional Tattoo Studio owners and Artists. We will help you continue and thrive.
